TRAVEL | Tulum

Hi friends! Excited to share everything Tulum with you including, where we stayed, ate, what to see/do, and our personal experience traveling to Tulum! Where We Stayed: Our first night we stayed in Cancun, since that’s where we flew in and Tulum is another 1.5 to 2 hr drive south from there. We stayed at the Canopy by Hilton. Really affordable and extremely nice stay! Beautiful pool and gym! The next day we arrived in Tulum and stayed at the Beautiful Hotel Panamera! This was our favorite stay and was relatively affordable for what it was! We wish we would…

It has kind of turned into a tradition that we always look forward to! This year we traveled to Jackson, WY, to ski at Teton Village! It was beautiful! Also I think I’m getting better at snowboarding haha! This was only my 3rd time and I definitely see and feel improvements. We were only there for 3 full days, yet I feel like we were really able to see and do…

OUR MINIMOON | Oregon Coast

I could not have had a more wonderful honeymoon with my love! Feeling so grateful that we were able to get away even just for 3 days and enjoy one another! I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect! Even compared to our original plan of a 2 week Bali honeymoon (now pushed off till next June, thanks Corona) I think I would still pick our little beach trip to Manzanita OR. Which I know is crazy! However going somewhere that was only a couple hours away, being able to be on our own time, not trying to make flights…

HAPPY SUNDAY Y’ALL!! Hope everyone is staying sane during this crazy time! We will get through this and come out even stronger with so much more appreciation of the beautiful lives we take for granted. Early March Nick and I purchased of first home together which has made this self quarantine a lot easier for me, allowing me to have something happy to focus on as well as a place to basically escape to when I get cooped up in my home. (I am still living with my parents and won’t be moving into the new house till June, although…

Snowboarding in Whistler

Had so much fun on this quick trip up to Whistler, Canada, over Thanksgiving with our friends Taylor and Brent! We were only there for 3 full days and my 3 day itteriary was basically: Day 1: Shopping for snowboarding gear Day 2: Snowboarding Day 3: Recovering from Snowboarding I felt like I had been in a car crash lol 😅 but it was so worth it! It was only my 2nd time snowboarding and it was definitely a rough start and I spent more time on the ground floundering, however towards the end my last couple of runs went…

Story Behind the Ring | Being Unconventional

We probably all have heard the words “diamonds are a girls best friend” said and sung by the beautiful Marilyn Monroe; however surprising fact is that she didn’t even wore diamonds.  All of her jewelry was costume jewelry with only the exception of a string of pearls and a diamond ring given to her by Joe DiMaggio, her second husband. Maybe Marilyn caught on to something. That something being, that stuff is just stuff. It’s the memories and the emotions we connect to those things that make them worth so much to us. To me a diamond was just another…
