Ever since I was little my favorite holiday was always Independence Day! I can remember every year on my Mom’s birthday, June 28, fireworks would go on sale and all the white tents would start popping up around town. It always made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I can also remember always wanting one of those stupid American Girl dolls which are on average $100, and my dad would always buy one of those big firework things for about $100 or more. You know the ones that shoot off like 50 to 100 fireworks at once🙄. And when he would light it he would come back and stand by me and say “there goes your American Doll”. haha it was kinda harsh, but I always found it kinda funny lol.
This Fourth we went up to Lake Tapps to visit a family friend and to watch the fireworks on the lake! It was definitely a fun experience and definitely something different for a change this holiday!!
