OUR MINIMOON | Oregon Coast

I could not have had a more wonderful honeymoon with my love! Feeling so grateful that we were able to get away even just for 3 days and enjoy one another! I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect! Even compared to our original plan of a 2 week Bali honeymoon (now pushed off till next June, thanks Corona) I think I would still pick our little beach trip to Manzanita OR. Which I know is crazy! However going somewhere that was only a couple hours away, being able to be on our own time, not trying to make flights…

HAPPY SUNDAY Y’ALL!! Hope everyone is staying sane during this crazy time! We will get through this and come out even stronger with so much more appreciation of the beautiful lives we take for granted. Early March Nick and I purchased of first home together which has made this self quarantine a lot easier for me, allowing me to have something happy to focus on as well as a place to basically escape to when I get cooped up in my home. (I am still living with my parents and won’t be moving into the new house till June, although…

Snowboarding in Whistler

Had so much fun on this quick trip up to Whistler, Canada, over Thanksgiving with our friends Taylor and Brent! We were only there for 3 full days and my 3 day itteriary was basically: Day 1: Shopping for snowboarding gear Day 2: Snowboarding Day 3: Recovering from Snowboarding I felt like I had been in a car crash lol 😅 but it was so worth it! It was only my 2nd time snowboarding and it was definitely a rough start and I spent more time on the ground floundering, however towards the end my last couple of runs went…

How I Saved my Skin | Hormonal Acne

HELLO EVERYONE! LETS TALK SKIN! So before I show you some horrible skin selfies/ beautiful progress pics, here is my story: So like most, I struggle with acne and I STILL do. My skin is still slowly getting better day by day and I have been pushing off writing and posting this blog post for what feels like forever. I’m to a point now where I feel like this is useful information that in my option needs to be shared even if it only helps just one beautiful struggling soul. DISCLAIMER: everyone’s skin and hormones are so very different, so…

Story Behind the Ring | Being Unconventional

We probably all have heard the words “diamonds are a girls best friend” said and sung by the beautiful Marilyn Monroe; however surprising fact is that she didn’t even wore diamonds.  All of her jewelry was costume jewelry with only the exception of a string of pearls and a diamond ring given to her by Joe DiMaggio, her second husband. Maybe Marilyn caught on to something. That something being, that stuff is just stuff. It’s the memories and the emotions we connect to those things that make them worth so much to us. To me a diamond was just another…

Banff | Winter Travel Guide

What to See: So, I’m going to split this into parts because within Banff National Park there are kinda several different areas. The Banff area, the Lake Louise area, and Icefields Parkway. Plus, if you head up to Jasper (which if you do, you need to stay at least one night there) there are a bunch of things to see on the way. BANFF AREA: Lake Minniewanka (easy to get to, just drive up to it) Two Jack Lake (Right next to Lake Minniewanka, also super easy to get to, if you go to one you should go to the…

SKYLAR | Scent Club

I am so excited to to be working with Skylar, a natural perfume company! If you haven’t already heard about it they have recently released their new Scent Club! What is the Scent Club you might ask? Well, it is a monthly subscription box containing one new limited-edition scent! Brilliant right?! This month’s Scent is called Magic Bloom, and in my opinion it is the perfect blend between fruity and floral without being too much! It has such a fresh smell which is something I feel other perfume don’t really give. Why Skylar? Natural clean fresh scents They are all…

21 Things I Have Learned in My 21 Years

You won’t be able to fully receive love from others if you can’t even love yourself. This is something I actually struggled a lot with on and off for the first 3 years of Nick and I’s relationship. When I felt down or not good enough I would blame him and tell him that he needs to love me more, when that wasn’t even the problem. He loved me more than I would ever know or feel until I was able to find love for myself first. Once I was able to find that self love, that mindset that I…
